Introduction to Biomedical Engineering and Artificial Organs

Calling all future doctors, engineers and students interested in the human body! This
fun and hands-on course has three main components. First, it introduces students to
the concept of engineering and the process of engineering design. Second, it explores
the various organs of the human body and their function. Finally, it looks at how the
processes of organs can be replicated in an artificial way. We will explore artificial
organs that already exist and have a hands on experiments for students to investigate and
replicate the physical process of an organ!
