Explore the role that film scores play in the creation of movies and their impact on the viewers' experience. In this course students will analyze chosen soundtracks and specific scenes examining aspects like main themes, character motifs, and action cues. Students will also learn terms such as ""cue"", ""spotting"", ""beat"", ""dieagetic"", and others.Through stimulating group discussions and completing an essay or final quiz participants will develop an understanding of how composers significantly contribute to affect regulation for audiences during a movie.
