Course Description
This mini-course examines media's role in shaping society, focusing on its influence on values, behavior, and public opinion. Students will analyze historical and modern examples to understand media bias, propaganda, and misinformation while exploring ethical storytelling. Through interactive discussions, group projects, and multimedia tools, they will critically evaluate media messages and create a responsible media campaign addressing a social issue. The course covers media history, its impact on democracy, and social media's cultural role.
