Course Description
This mini-course invites students to explore the dynamic nature of identity—how it forms, evolves, and is shaped by society. Through debates, discussions, reflections, and presentations, participants will go beyond fixed categories to examine how societal forces influence who we are, while discovering their own agency to challenge these influences. Students will engage in critical thinking and self-reflection to identify areas for societal change, developing a social change project that envisions the impact on individual identities. By the end, they’ll gain skills in self-awareness, critical thinking, and social action, preparing them to make thoughtful contributions to the world around them.
