Art and Health: Crafting Healthier Communities

Course Description

Together, the group will take on a creative and hands on exploration of the potential for arts to make healthier and more equal societies. Using mixed media including collage, poetry, and drawing, students will be invited to create a group mural to explore topics of health, well-being, community and equity through art.

Please note : This mini-course will not take place on the main campus of the University of Ottawa, but at the Lees campus.

Biography

I am a 5th year PhD student and part-time professor. My interests focus on creative art practices and research for better community health.
