Course Description

Using examples from popular series like Naruto, Sailor Moon, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, and My Hero Academia, students will examine traditional gender expectations, how they’ve evolved over time, and how anime portrays strong, diverse, and sometimes unconventional characters.
