Course Description
Imagine capturing the beauty of the living world from different angles, just like taking photos of an object from various perspectives. The molecular structures inside our cells are incredible engineering feats, perfected over billions of years of evolution. Our environment, too, is a masterpiece, shaped by the fascinating interactions between countless living species. In this mini-course, you'll dive into exciting topics like biotechnology, ecology, global warming, genetically modified organisms, biodiversity, and bioinformatics. You'll also get a glimpse of the cutting-edge resources at the University of Ottawa that are used for teaching and researching biology.
