Course Description

Korean culture, from its captivating dramas and music to its delicious cuisine, has taken the world by storm. The term ""Hallyu,"" or ""Korean Wave,"" was coined to describe this global phenomenon. Are you a fan of K-pop or K-drama? Do you love Korean food? Then what better way to immerse yourself in Korean culture than by learning the language?
In this course, you'll take your first step into the world of Korean by learning Hangul, the Korean alphabet. Known for its simplicity, Hangul can be mastered in just 5 days. By the end of this course, you'll be able to read and write any Korean text, from your favorite K-pop star's name to song lyrics and beyond.
To enhance your learning experience, we'll take a field trip to the Korean Cultural Centre in Ottawa. There, you'll have the opportunity to wear a traditional Hanbok, savor delicious Korean snacks, and even belt out your favorite K-pop songs in a karaoke session.
