Course Description

This class will provide students with an opportunity to learn about conflict resolution in theory and to practice constructive and collaborative conflict resolution. We will discuss interests-based "win-win" negotiation, get reflective and mindful about our personal conflict styles, consider theories about conflict, and learn about and practice negotiation role plays as well as peer mediation. Students will leave the course prepare to facilitate negotiations and peer mediations in their own lives.
