In this class we will learn how to create short Locative Media projects -- apps where location plays a vital role in telling a story or solving a puzzle (think Pokemon Go). First we'll learn about how these technologies came to be and how they can change our relationship with the world around us. Then we'll move on to creating spatial annotations (sticky notes for places), audio tours, hypertext stories, and collaborating to make a simple game. Simple programming experience is helpful, but not required, for this course. Come and make stuff with us!
